There are changes a plenty this year within the DDDS. We have a couple of members who will be sitting this year out as well as a couple of members who will be joining us again after some time. Thad BIG BUCKS Kunz will be back in action this year. We will remind him daily that the Bears Still Suck. Plus as an added bonus, the 2009 hunt should be extra awesome with the addition of an old friend who hasn't been with the DDDS for 10 years. Jay Sheepshead Shambeau has decided to make the trek to the island for a couple of days of good food, drink and camaraderie. We look forward to his company.
While Rob and Scott won't be crossing the Door and will be missed, this year's hunt should be an exciting one. The herd numbers, as reported by the DNR, are at record levels and there have been sightings of bucks north of ten points near our property (on the bluff as usual.)
